From Near Death to New Life: My Miracle Baby Story

The night of January 8th, I was getting ready for my first day interning as a dental assistant. While making a snack, I suddenly felt dizzy, but I didn’t think much of it. I just assumed I was overly excited for the next day, so I went to bed. In the middle of the night, I woke up to a pain I had never experienced before in my life. It was so intense that I could barely cry or make any noise. I started searching for my phone, but it was nowhere in sight. At some point, I must have passed out because I woke up again. This time, I managed to get on my feet and check my dresser, but my phone still wasn’t there and the pain was getting worse. I fainted again and woke up on the floor.
By the morning of January 8th, I knew I needed help. Since I live alone and couldn’t call out to anyone, I decided to pull the sheets off my bed because I was sure my phone was there. Once I finally found it, I called 911 and then called my cousin to come unlock my door so the EMTs wouldn’t have to break it down. At the hospital, everything moved quickly. I explained the pain I was feeling, and the doctors immediately noticed that I looked very pale. They discovered that my blood count was extremely low and gave me a blood transfusion right away. They also checked my right side, where the pain was coming from, and found fluid, possibly blood in my abdomen.
They told me I needed emergency surgery and asked if there was any chance I could be pregnant. I said no because I thought I had recently had my period, but I later found out I was actually 9 weeks pregnant. Shocked and overwhelmed, I was rushed into surgery. I woke up around midnight to see my sister and brother-in-law by my side. That’s when I was told I had survived a very intense surgery and so had my baby. We’re now known as the “miracle mom and baby.”
I spent two days in the ICU and another four days recovering in a regular hospital room. On the day I was discharged, doctors explained what caused the internal bleeding. They found fetal tissue in my right fallopian tube, which caused my right ovary to stop functioning properly and become exposed. As a result, both my right fallopian tube and ovary had to be removed during surgery.
I was told this type of situation usually does not result in a surviving baby but mine was perfectly fine. It turns out I was pregnant with twins. One didn’t survive, but the other did.
Before all of this, I was in great health, no issues of any kind and had no idea I was pregnant.
I had to recover at home for four weeks. After that, I returned to work right away. I’ve been working as a healthcare aide since I was 18, so I really missed my job during that time. I was also disappointed that I missed out on my dental assistant internship, but the school I attended has been very supportive and will help me find a job opportunity after I give birth and have reliable childcare. Through everything, I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my family, friends, and my supporters including my community in the adult industry. It meant so much to have people who supported me financially while I was recovering, so I didn’t have to rely heavily on my savings.
I wanted to share this part of my story with you because things will be changing, and I’m not sure how often I’ll be around to entertain. But for now, you can still catch my LIVE shows just follow me on social media, where I post all my announcements.
